Wow, this book was a ride.

I absolutely loved the beginning of the book and the focus around everything having to do with James and Cordelia. All the little details of the wedding, the house that James decorated for her (and him giving her the tour), and the necklace had me swooning. Some of my favorite little details were reading about them sharing small moments together in married life.

All I have to say is – James and Cordirla better end up together or I will riot. 

I also really enjoyed getting to learn more about Grace’s backstory. Grace is by-far not one of my favorite characters, but I did gain some sympathy and understanding for her. It was nice to learn what her motivations are. I’m really anxious to see where she ends up in the last book. 

One of the most frustrating things about this book was all the miscommunication and lying. Literally, just a couple conversations would have solved so many problems! 

I love all the characters and banter. I am so invested in everyone, I immediately had to start the next book. I can’t wait to keep reading!
