Book Summary
Feyre has returned to the Spring Court, determined to gather information on Tamlin’s actions and learn what she can about the invading king threatening to bring her land to its knees. But to do so she must play a deadly game of deceit. One slip could bring doom not only for Feyre, but for everything-and everyone-she holds dear.
As war bears down upon them all, Feyre endeavors to take her place amongst the High Fae of the land, balancing her struggle to master her powers-both magical and political-and her love for her court and family. Amidst these struggles, Feyre and Rhysand must decide whom to trust amongst the cunning and lethal High Lords, and hunt for allies in unexpected places. (Summary from Goodreads)
“You do not fear. You do not falter. You do not yield.”
Review/Thoughts
This book was faced paced, thrilling, and action packed. The character development was great. I adored watching Feyre really grow into herself and become a powerful, confident badass. I also love Rhysand and Feyre as a power couple. I really enjoyed Cassian and Nesta’s dynamic, it got me so excited to read A Court of Silver Flames.
I’m not usually a huge fan of politics, war, and fighting scenes – BUT, I loved every part of this book! The battles had me on the edge of my seat. I couldn’t put this book down and I wasn’t bored for one second while reading it!
“I would have waited five hundred more years for you. A thousand years. And if this was all the time we were allowed to have… the wait was worth it.”
Book #3 of A Court of Thorns and Roses.
