Book Summary

Aelin Galathynius has vowed to save her people ― but at a tremendous cost. Locked within an iron coffin by the Queen of the Fae, Aelin must draw upon her fiery will as she endures months of torture. The knowledge that yielding to Maeve will doom those she loves keeps her from breaking, but her resolve is unraveling with each passing day…

With Aelin captured, friends and allies are scattered to different fates. Some bonds will grow even deeper, while others will be severed forever. As destinies weave together at last, all must fight if Erilea is to have any hope of salvation.

“Live, Manon.”

Review/Thoughts:

This book was an emotional rollercoaster. I laughed, I cried, I swooned, and I was heartbroken. Everything about this series was perfection – the characters, the found family, the romance, the plot, the pacing, the intense action.

Each and every character has a special place in my heart. They all have so much depth and character development. It was nice to see everything come together at the end and see where everyone’s relationships ended up.

I absolutely adored Manon and Dorian’s character arcs. I would read 100 more books about them.

Throne of Glass is one of the most amazing series I have ever read. I am so sad to be done with these amazing book. I have fallen in love with so many characters and it’s one of the hardest goodbyes yet.

“You do not yield.”

Since I’m buddy reading this series with my husband, and had him write down some of his thoughts:

Wow! The entirety of this book is action packed and keeps you on the edge of the seat on what’s going to happen. All of the characters are finally getting together and the true power of Aelins court comes to light. This book is full of battles, both physical and mental, and emotions.

Overall this book was great! Very fast paced and it was hard to set it down once I started reading.

“Two months, three days, and seven hours.”
