Wow. What a year.

My one 2023 resolution what to read more books. It was something I used to really enjoy in high school and college, but sort of lost once I got married and starting real adult responsibilities. Somehow, my goal to read 1-2 books a month ended up being 70+ books, a Bookstagram and BookTok account, a book blog, and me really feeling like I found myself again. 2023 was a really tough year for me, and I will forever be grateful to the books that helped me find joy while everything else felt so dark.

Here are my top reads from last year:

Top Fantasy Books:

  • A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas
  • Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros
  • Heir of Fire by Sarah J. Maas
  • Empire of Storms by Sarah J. Maas
  • Lord of Shadows by Cassandra Clare
  • Chain of Iron by Cassandra Clare

Top Romances:

  • Love Redesigned by Lauren Asher
  • King of Greed by Ana Huang
  • Reckless by Elsie Silver
  • Flawless by Elsie Silver
  • Final Offer by Lauren Asher
  • Done & Dusted by Lyla Sage

About Me

Hi! I’m so excited to meet you! I was a huge reading in high school and college, but dropped off when adult life started. In 2022 I started struggling with anxiety and decided to pick up a book in a desperate attempt to find a way to calm it. I never looked back! Books have helped me through some of the toughest times in my life and I want to share that with others.
